Before and After School Child Care
The Holy Spirit Child Care Program serves Holy Spirit Catholic School families with children enrolled in Preschool through grade 8 who desire a fun, safe, structured, enriching environment for their children before school, during the school day, after school and/or in the summer. We provide children an opportunity to grow and learn with self-confidence, meeting each child’s unique needs, and offering them independence and responsibility in a Christian school environment.
Child Care is available (at a very modest fee) weekdays from 7 am until 6 pm. Our Child Care providers plan a variety of special activities for the children entrusted into their care, such as

The Holy Spirit Child Development Center and Child Discovery Center are fully licensed by the Michigan Department of Human Services. Our staff includes individuals who have an Early Childhood background and are trained in CPR and First Aid. A State of Michigan fingerprint screening process is required by all staff members. In addition, each staff member has been carefully screened for their love of children and their ability to positively interact with children on a daily basis.

Summer Care
The Holy Spirit Child Development Center offers a Child Care Program during the summer months. The Holy Spirit Summer Child Care Program is available for children entering 3 year old preschool through 8th grade at Holy Spirit School and other Catholic Schools within the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Consideration is given to children outside of the Catholic Schools if room is available within our Summer Child Care Program.
The Holy Spirit Summer Child Care Program offers a variety of experiences and opportunities for developing every aspect of each child including the: spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual. Additionally, these opportunities include weekly field trips. Destination field trips are available for children entering 1st grade through 8th grade. In-house field trips are available for all children entering 3 year old preschool through 8th grade.
