Holy Spirit School Athletic Handbook
The purpose of all extracurricular activities and athletics at Holy Spirit School is to complement the home, church, and school in the development of the whole person.
Our award-winning athletics program is available to all students in Grades 5-8. Activities are for the enjoyment of the children and are suited to their age and physical growth. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of sportsmanship, teamwork, physical fitness, and fundamental skills. Holy Spirit maintains excellent athletic facilities on our beautiful 35-acre campus. Holy Spirit competes in the Grand Rapids Area Catholic Elementary Athletic Council, Catholic United Sports, and Westside Youth Sports. The cost per year is $85 for Holy Spirit students and sign-ups are online at graceac.com. CUS and WYS may have different registration fees, found in their online registration links, when available. Student athletes are required to submit the following before participating:
- GRACEAC Registration – Seasonal links sent out throughout the school year)
- MHSAA Medical Form rev 3.2024 (dated after April 15)
- Concussion Form
- $85 Participation Fee (Holy Spirit School students and parishioners) CUS & WYS may be different.
