Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The PTA is organized and staffed by parents of Holy Spirit School and provides a variety of services for the school. The PTA plans and funds various educational and social activities during the school year, enriching the educational experience at Holy Spirit. In addition to providing funding for equipment and services, the PTA contributes to the sense of community within Holy Spirit School by providing hospitality-related services throughout the year.

The goals of this organization (according to the Holy Spirit School PTA Constitution, Article II: Goals) are:
  • To bring into closer relation the home and the school, so parents and teachers may work together in educating children in a Catholic Christian environment.
  • To develop between teachers and parents such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
  • To offer through a well-planned program information of particular interest to parents in an effort to raise the standards of home life.
