Before and After School Care

The Holy Spirit Child Care Program serves Holy Spirit Catholic School families with children enrolled in Preschool through grade 8 who desire a fun, safe, structured, enriching environment for their children before school, during the school day, after school and/or in the summer. We provide children an opportunity to grow and learn with self-confidence, meeting each child’s unique needs, and offering them independence and responsibility in a Christian school environment.

Child Care is available (at a very modest fee) weekdays from 7 am until 6 pm. Our Child Care providers plan a variety of special activities for the children entrusted into their care, such as

  • Music/Art
  • Snack/Lunch
  • Games
  • Sensory play
  • Literacy/Stories
  • Outdoor play/Movement
  • Math/Science/Technology
  • Social development
  • Quiet/Rest time
  • Homework help

The Holy Spirit Child Development Center is fully licensed by the Michigan Department of Human Services.  Our staff includes individuals who have an Early Childhood background and are trained in CPR and First Aid.  A State of Michigan screening process is required by all staff members. In addition, each staff member has been carefully screened for their love of children and their ability to positively interact with children on a daily basis.
