Kristen Mersino
This is Kristen Mersino’s fourth year teaching 2nd grade at Holy Spirit. Prior to teaching second grade, she taught young fives. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and elementary education from Grand Valley University.
Kristen and her husband Dominic started attending Holy Spirit Church in 1998, where they were married and had their first 2 children before relocating to the east side of Michigan. God brought them back to the west side and Holy Spirit along with their now 5 children.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys traveling, visiting the beach, spending time with her family, glass etching, and finding new ways to be creative.

Peyton Jones
Miss Peyton Jones earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Hope College in the spring of 2020. She moved from the east side of the state where she grew up, attended St. James Catholic Church, did substitute teaching, and coached volleyball. This will be her third year teaching 2nd graders here at Holy Spirit!
Peyton and her four siblings have all attended Hope College and love being close to Lake Michigan! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to her family cottage, and keeping up with the latest fashion trends. She also loves all things Disney, and that is her favorite place to go on vacation. Peyton is super excited to join the Holy Spirit family and is excited to watch the kids grow, learn, and deepen their relationship with God!
